It’s been 7 years since Brighter Bridge of Weir started work on the Torr Road Garden, the Group‘s first big project. After major civil engineering works the area was just a rough, triangular slope of bare, stony ground. Now it’s another example of the Group’s commitment to enhancing the village. They were itching for the opportunity to give it a going-over. Early last month, some of the Group spent an entire day working on it. They filled 18 bags with deadwood and weeds and gave the plants a general health check. It’s hard now to remember what it looked like back in 2011 but there are pictures on our Projects page.ww
